Outreach Privacy Notice

weldmeld is the brand name of Curvix sp. z o.o., a design and marketing studio registered in Poland. If you’re reading this, we most likely sent you an email you didn’t ask for, and this page is where we account for that: what we know about you, where it came from, and how to make us stop. That company is the data controller.

For anything about your data, write to hello@weldmeld.com. Replying to the email we sent works just as well.

Only what a professional profile shows, and only what we need to write to you:

• Your name and your role.
• The company you work for, and what it does.
• Your work email address, and sometimes a work phone number.
• The address of your professional profile or your company’s site.
• Our own notes: why we thought you’d be worth writing to, and what we’ve sent you.

Nothing about you as a private person. We don’t collect personal email addresses, home addresses, or anything the GDPR treats as a special category of data, and if one slips in we delete it.

From sources you or your company made public for professional contact: your company’s website, your public profile on a professional network such as LinkedIn, a public company register, or a directory or listing your company appears in. We look these up ourselves, by hand; we don’t buy lists.

To introduce our services to a business we think could use them, and to answer if you reply. We rely on our legitimate interest in finding clients for our business (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). We’ve weighed that against your interests: the data is limited to your professional role, it was published in a professional context, we write about your work rather than about you, and one word from you ends it.

Where the law of your country requires your consent before we can send a commercial message to your address, we ask for it first or don’t write.

The tools we work in. Each processes the data on our behalf and under the data processing terms that apply between us:

• Google Workspace (Google): our email, so the message to you and any reply live there.
• Notion (Notion Labs, Inc.): where we keep the list of who we’ve written to and our notes.

Both are US companies certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and offering Standard Contractual Clauses, which is what covers the transfer of your data outside the European Economic Area. Beyond these, we share it with no one, and we never sell it.

If you don’t reply, or reply that you’re not interested, we delete your details within 12 months of our last message. If you object, marketing contact stops immediately. We may keep only your email address on a suppression list so that we don’t contact you again.

If a conversation starts, your details are kept as long as it’s alive, and from then on our Privacy Policy applies, the same as for anyone who contacts us.

You can object at any time, and we’ll stop. That’s the right that matters most here, and it doesn’t need a reason: reply with “please stop”, or write to hello@weldmeld.com.

You can also ask us to:

• tell you what data we hold about you, and give you a copy;
• correct it if it’s wrong or incomplete;
• delete it;
• restrict what we do with it while something is being sorted out.

We answer without undue delay, normally within one month, and it’s free. If you think we’ve handled your data badly, you have the right to complain to the Polish supervisory authority, the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych), ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warszawa, uodo.gov.pl, or to the authority in your own country.
